editorial photography

I have shot the cover page and editorial photographs for a variety of magazines in Chennai. Being quite generic in nature, magazines tend to use food photography, celebrity photography, fashion photography etc. for their cover page pictures. Since the purpose of the photo here is not to sell a product, but to coincide with the magazine, I always take time out to understand what the cover story is and what the theme for that issue is. It is yet another interesting area for me.
